Less than 2 weeks to go…..

Wow, realisation this week has hit! We have less than 2 weeks until The Brighton Half Marathon 😬.
Do I feel anywhere ready? Absolutely not! Has my training been going well? Urm questionable! Especially this week, with a poorly Coen, Half term, work and everything else we have going on, I struggle to prioritise.
One thing since starting this training though is I’ve realised it doesn’t have to be all or nothing, you can still have off days and get to where you want to be. When I look back to starting the couch to 5k I couldn’t even run 1 minute without looking at my watch to see how long I have left. I can now run an hour with no stopping, on a good day. But what I’ve also realised is moving is moving, even if I have to walk, run, walk, run it’s all moving and getting me closer to that finish line. I wish I could bottle the feeling after I’ve accomplished a run that I’m pleased with to keep that motivation going, even on a “bad” run you get a “rush” of something and always kick myself that I could have pushed harder. This is what I’m going to take with me into the last few training sessions and the half marathon.
